The full Isle of Wight Coast Path walking holiday takes a 70-mile route around the entire island coastline. There is plenty of interesting sites to discover along the trail, including both natural wonders and historic landmarks.
Is there a coastal path around the Isle of Wight?
The Isle of Wight Coastal path can be split into six sections; with each part offering you something unique. Whether youre travelling to the Island via Yarmouth, Cowes or Ryde, youll be able to pick up the coastal path easily from your ferry or hovercraft terminal.
Do you need a car on Isle of Wight?
The short answer is yes, you can get around the Isle of Wight without a car. However, I would say its a lot easier if you stay in the East Wight (Ryde, Sandown, Shanklin), or possibly in Newport. In the car, you can get anywhere from Newport in about half an hour but on the bus it will be longer.
