TP-Link gear is cheap. The TP-Link TL-WR841N is fantastic, especially with DD-WRT on it. Id be careful with their very cheapest stuff, but anything midrange and up they make is excellent. TP-Link controls its own supply chain, which it believes allows it to build better products at better prices.
