Echo is our schools learning management system. Our teachers post their class materials, students submit their assignments, and grades are posted in Echo. Through Echo, you can access the daily agenda for your students classes and see upcoming assignments.
How can Echo360 be used as a student?
Using the Mobile App You need to create an Echo360 password: Students who enter Echo360 through a link in their LMS/VLE are simply passed into Echo360. We have your email address but you dont have a password. The Mobile App requires you to log in, and that means having an Echo360 password.
What is Echo360 used for?
Echo360 is a lecture capture system, which allows the recording of classroom lectures, meetings, speeches, and other events. The recordings can be made available for students to review on their own or shared with others.
How long does Echo360 take to process?
The Echo360 ALP recording can take up to 24 hours to process, especially during busy times during the semester. Normally it will be available within the 24 hour time period, however this can sometimes vary.
How much does Echo360 cost?
SUBSCRIPTION TERM: Three (3) years, commencing on July 1, 2020 and ending on June 30, 2023. If the client decides to renew for one year (1) the cost will be $22,500 for the license and Echo360 Pro devices will be $ $3,860 per device. Echo360 Pod devices will be $ $1,825.
Can you talk on Echo360?
You can use the free Echo360 App to view lecture slides, watch course videos on demand, and ask questions/participate in discussion via your smart phone or tablet. When logging into the app, make sure to use your netid@umass.edu address.
